Comanzo & Co. Specialty Bakers, Inc. is
pleased to announce that we have won the
National Tasting Award of Excellence held by
the National Board of the American Tasting
Institute.
The American Tasting Institute was founded in
1993 as a private organization by Chef Jesse
Sartain and his professional Chef colleagues to
promote taste, safety, and nutritional standards.
Their decisions benefit and guide consumers
and commercial food service buyers to better
food products by merchandising America's Best
products.
A panel of professional chefs in San Francisco
conducted the "blind" judging, in which the chefs
did not know which company baked the biscotti.
Our biscotti flavors, Apricot Coconut Pecan,
Blueberry Lemon Walnut, and Chocolate
Dipped Mocha Espresso, were the recipients of
this award. The biscotti were judged on taste,
appearance and freshness and were judged
"excellent" in all categories.
