Comanzo's was founded over 14 years ago in the 200 year old antique farmhouse kitchen of owner Licette
Comanzo Walker. This is where you will find Licette on most weekends either baking bread or coming up with
new recipes. This business was created out of our passion for baking and the desire to make the best baked
goods we can. Our biscotti recipe has been a family favorite for over 100 years.
Because we live on a farm, we know the importance of buying LOCAL and supporting local farms. Comanzo's is
committed to manufacturing the best tasting baked goods using the highest quality, and in most cases,
organically grown ingredients. We scout out and buy the best ingredients possible from small suppliers who
know and care as we do about what they are doing. All of our products are baked from scratch in our own
commercial bakery located in the farmlands of northern Rhode Island.
We are intent on doing our small part to get people back to basic good simple foods without chemical additives
and preservatives. We are proud to produce our cookies and biscotti and we want our customers to be proud to
share Comanzo's with their families and friends. PURE & SIMPLE...

"When a member of our family was told to eat GLUTEN-FREE my work began...I love a baking challenge.... always have- and this time I set the bar very high...I wanted to produce a Gluten-Free version of our Award-Winning Biscotti and Brutti ma Buoni cookies and wanted them to taste just as good!
Well, after some experimenting I was able to duplicate our biscotti and cookies with the same awesome flavors. We all love them and hope you will too!"
